The silver mesh automatically preserves the fresh water every time the tank is refilled. Pure silver ions effectively protect the water and the fresh water system from contamination. The product is available for all container and tank sizes and only needs to be changed once a year.
The silver net guarantees a controlled release of biocidal silver ions into the surrounding water. The proven technology ensures that bacteria, viruses and fungi are killed/inactivated in the storage container/fresh water tank. The resulting water storage capacity (water preservation) extends across the entire water-carrying system, providing effective protection against germs and biofilm formation.

Mode of action:
The effect of the silver net is based on the release of pure silver ions (Ag+). These silver ions act as a microbicide against pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, yeasts/fungi and, to a certain extent, protozoa in a concentration range of (5 ... 80) µg/l in water. Due to the non-specific mechanisms of action, no symptoms of resistance are known to date.
Silver ions damage the cell membrane, inactivate cell enzymes and prevent the formation of new DNA.
How it works:
1. Solvation
Water molecules (H₂O) dissolve the silver ions (Ag+) from the silver network.
2. Fluidisation
The movement of the water ensures that the silver ions are transported to all areas of the water system.
3. Contact surface
The 3-dimensional textile mesh creates a large silver-coated reaction surface, which ensures rapid preservation of the water.
Before inserting the silver net into your tank, you should carry out a one-time basic cleaning and disinfection of your fresh water system.
