Baking in the Marco Polo? Yes, you can!
Especially suitable for baking bread rolls!
A must for every camper who doesn't always want to go to the "bread service"!
Omnia is the clever little oven that lets you bake and make casseroles on the go: Directly on the gas flame, with the camping cooker or on the hob (not for induction). Effortless, inexpensive and space-saving, you can prepare everything you can bake in a normal oven.
Anders Billing (well-known Swedish cookbook author):
"I have prepared most things in here: Marble cakes, bread, casseroles and quiche - basically anything you can make in a conventional oven."
Here's how it works:
The Omnia camping oven consists of three parts.
- An aluminium mould that looks like a round cake tin and has a hole in the middle. You fill it about halfway with the ingredients or dough.
- The mould comes with a specially shaped steel base that also has a hole in the middle.
- The red lid has a small vent The red lid has small ventilation holes and sufficient height to allow cakes and bread to rise properly. - The Omnia is placed with the hole directly above the flame (or in the middle of the hob).
This allows the heat from the flame to rise through the design and create top heat in the oven.
