"The battery Wattstunde "LIX low temperature LT" is our premium model of the LIX series. In addition to features such as a battery management system and a Bluetooth interface, this model series has an integrated heating mat, because lithium batteries do not like low temperatures. The watt-hour "LIX low temperature LT" promises uncompromising and reliable operation even at low temperatures, highest performance is guaranteed at all times!

Conventional lithium batteries have the problem that they can no longer be charged at temperatures below freezing

With our "LIX Low Temperature LT", however, we offer a solution. The intelligent, energy-efficient heater ensures that the cell temperature is high enough even in winter. Thus, the LIX LT ensures reliable usability even at low temperatures. If the cell temperature falls below -5 degrees, the integrated heating mat is activated when the battery needs to be charged.

During normal operation in summer, this has no effect on the battery's energy consumption. The integrated heating mat has no standby loss! The integrated BMS automatically controls the heating mat as needed.

Enough current for starting currents
A known problem! When switching on electrical consumers (especially AC), extremely high starting currents occur. For a fraction of a second, a multiple of the rated current is needed. If this is not counteracted, the extreme electrical currents quickly lead to a defect in the BMS electronics. Even with a conscientious selection of the inverter (the rated power corresponds to the permissible continuous load of the battery), it cannot be ruled out that unpredictable starting currents will destroy the BMS. Therefore, a unique protection circuit (pre-charging) is built into our LIX to mitigate this problem.

Long service life and wide capacity utilisation
Conventional lead-acid batteries can only be discharged up to 50 % and have a comparatively low cycle stability. Lithium technology allows up to 80 % of the stored energy to be discharged quickly and safely. Over 3000 cycles guarantee a long service life, ideal conditions for use as solar storage.

Series connection, 12 or 24 V system no problem
Batteries can be connected in parallel to increase capacity. This not only increases the energy that can be retrieved/stored, but also the maximum charging and discharging current. Identical batteries can be connected to each other without any problems. In addition to parallel connection, series connection is also possible. In this way, a 24 V or even a 48 V system can be set up. The advantage: even at high power levels, comparatively low currents flow. The current can be reduced. Thus, smaller cable cross-sections can be used.
Professional high-performance inverters can be used.

This is currently the safest lithium technology in the field of energy storage for vehicles. A lithium battery is composed of several high-performance cells. In order to precisely control the charging and discharging process, an intelligent battery management system (BMS) is required. This is already integrated in our batteries and, in addition to numerous protective functions, ensures that the individual cells are optimally charged to guarantee a long service life. Failures of the storage due to environmental influences are prevented in advance by the BMS.

The many protective functions protect the battery from overvoltage, overcharging or excessive temperatures. In everyday life, you no longer have to worry about your energy storage device.

The batteries are maintenance-free and there is no risk of explosion or fire. Since they are sealed batteries without gas formation, they can also be installed in awkward spaces. The arbitrary installation position ensures the greatest possible flexibility. Self-discharge is extremely low at 3 % per month.
