The VOTRONIC charge booster ensures optimum charging of the starter and supply battery, even on short journeys, and is suitable for use with any alternator.
VOTRONIC charge boosters are an excellent replacement and ensure a significantly better energy balance, even with conventional alternators.
Unlike conventional boosters, VOTRONIC charge boosters operate fully automatically with an optimised charging characteristic and without monitoring. The battery cannot be overcharged.
Due to the Euro 6 emissions standard, the Mercedes Marco Polo has a regulated alternator, which is regulated so that it charges as much as is currently needed according to current consumption.
How it works:
By installing the charge booster/charge controller, we prevent the alternator from switching off and ensure that the starter battery and body battery of the Mercedes Marco Polo are charged with up to 30A.
