Better safe than sorry!
As the surfaces of the Marco Polo kitchen are made of real glass, any sharp or sandy objects dragged across them can cause scratches.
You'll then be annoyed permanently or may even have to replace the glass, a very expensive undertaking.
To prevent this, you can obtain two different protective film sets (3 individual films that are precisely tailored to the lid shapes) here. Installation is carried out using a wet adhesive method and is very easy to do (see pictures).

Toller Schutz für das empfindliche Glas
Die Folie kommt gut verpackt und ist für die 3 Küchenglasmodule sauber beschriftet. Die Aufbringen hat einwandfrei und blasenfrei geklappt. Ich habe die zusätzlich eine Wassersprüher mit PH neutraler Seife verwendet und damit vorab die Folie und das Glas eingesprüht. Das Ergebnis ist wirklich perfekt, die größe der Folie passt auf den mm genau und man sieht quasi keinen Unterschied zum originalen Glas. Ich kann daher das Produkt nur empfehlen!
